This can be a simple as a phone call to discover where you are at, what is on your mind, what you are looking to achieve and discuss how we may be able to help. Some personal information is gathered with your permission to assist in this journey. At the end of this discussion (sometimes we need another phone discussion to help clarify a few points) we will prepare a easy to understand terms of agreement outlining how we can help, a timeline and service costs. No advice is provided at this early stage. It’s also a chance for you to see if you want to work with us.
In the first meeting, we usually complete the process of understanding your goals, health needs of who the service is for, and personal and financial information, so we can start to map out what your plan should include to meet these goals. A service agreement is drafted outlining what tasks we will undertake, how much it will cost and how long it will take. If you are happy with the approach, then we kick-start the process.
For aged care placement; typically, a review of up to three best matched facilities are provided. If they are acceptable, site visits are arranged with the aged care facilities giving you the opportunity to see first hand what you think of your or your loved one’s potential new home. If you are not happy with the choices, we will keep trying until you have found the solution you feel is right.
From there Phillips Wealth Partners will take all the guess work out of the cost of your aged care by preparing a ‘cost at day one’ assessment. Getting to this stage may take up to two meetings.
For home care services, depending on your health needs, budget and timelines, a comprehensive review of your options and associated costs will be provided.
